NutraVita's Turmeric is a decent supplement. By including black pepper, they have increased the potential absorption of the turmeric. However, there a few major shortcomings of this formula...

Firstly, they use regular turmeric instead of the extract, which is less powerful and has been less studied than the extract which are involved in most clinical studies.

Beyond that, there is less than 40mg of curcuminoids, which is the active ingredient in turmeric responsible for the many health benefits. We normally recommend at least 150mg worth. Finally, they lack Vitamin C and Boswellia Serrata, crucial complementary ingredinets to help enhance the overall benefit of a Turmeric Supplement.

Overall, their product is reasonably priced and comes with a money back guarantee, but it appears they they have cut some corners in their formula.

Nu U's Turmeric Tablets are a reasonable formula which comes with an inexpensive price tag - but it may be a matter of 'you get what you pay for'.

Similarly to other cheaper products, this formula uses organic turmeric instead of turmeric extract. This reduces the potency and benefits that come from the Turmeric.

Moreover, their formula contains a paltry 5mg of black pepper, which is not sufficient enough to boost absorption of the turmeric.

They also failed to include any additional vitamins such as Vitamin C and notably exclude Boswellia Serrata, which makes it clear they have taken shortcuts in order to make the price lower.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Upon reviewing Natural Market's formula, we noticed a few deficiencies in their ingredients.

Notably, their formula lacks any additional nutrients such as Boswellia Serrata or Vitamin D. While this may be acceptable (albeit less effective), the fact that they use organic Turmeric instead of extract could hinder it's effectiveness.

We always recommend taking Turmeric Extract, as it is up to 50x more powerful and potent than regular Organic Turmeric.

On the plus side, it is inexpensive and comes in a vegan-friendly capsule shell, so it may be suitable for those on a tight budget.

Solaray's turmeric is an all-natural based formula that comes quite cheap. However, it fails to include Black Pepper, which is crucial for increasing the absorption of Turmeric. Furthermore, as is commom with cheaper products, it utilises Organic Turmeric.

With a dose of just 600mg, this product provides less than 10% of the potency of our #1 ranked product.

Overall, we do not recommend this product unless you are looking for a very mild turmeric supplement for simple maintenance and are on a budget.
